1st Annual Garden Walk
Showcasing one’s garden in an open forum can be a daunting experience, but our Roscoe Gardening Club members who participated in the RGC’s 1st Annual Garden Walk surpassed expectation and made the garden walk a success.
Our display gardens:
The Salcido Garden
Our garden is fondly referred to as Club Las Velas North. It is an oasis featuring a hand dug Koi Pond full of mature koi and 1 lucky catfish. Walking from the front yard to the back, you will experience the beauty of perennials of several varieties including irises, yellow day lilies, green hostas, peonies, and coneflowers. Pops of additional color are added with hanging baskets loaded with gorgeous annuals. Let the sound of the waterfall whisk you away to a peaceful relaxing moment in the garden as you sit under the shade on the patio and watch the birds. You won't want to leave.
The Rutledge Garden
Experience the charm of a young garden showcasing beautiful flowers and a dedicated section featuring various beds for perennial and annual fruits and vegetables.
The Graves Garden
The Graves garden is situated amongst a variety of trees and landscaping that really sets this garden apart from surrounding properties.
The Henson Garden
The Henson Garden is full of whimsical delights and secret surprises amidst a beautiful array of flowers and bushes. Visitors will also be inspired by the numerous everyday items repurposed into beautiful and colorful planters and garden decor.
The Timm Garden
Timm garden has been 35 years in the making. Come see and enjoy hundreds of different hostas, a stumper garden, a dragon garden,a sasquatch garden, a venus plant garden and a large selection of blooming annuals and perennials. It may not be the norm but it is fun to see.
